2)running services on the android os this functions as a process killer if the phone is rooted

You can use the taskmanager's taskkiller to kill,'switch to' and uninstall running android apps/tasks, auto taskkiller list keeps the apps killed or use the taskmanager's apps list to easely uninstall no longer needed apps, multiple apps/tasks can be killed at the same time or be put in the taskmanager's taskkiller list through the use of the checkboxes and menubuttons (toggle autokill) The auto taskkiller list is usefull because some application are auto started. You can kill these using the taskmanager's taskkiller but they will reapear after some time because of the auto start. If you put the application with the toggle autokill button in the taskmanager's auto taskkiller list then the taskmanager will check every 10seconds if the app has started and kill it if so. As of android 2.3 the app brought to the foreground can't be killed by the taskmanager. This is for all taskmanagers.

Killing services on the android os is also possible if you have root access. This was tested with androot and kills the process for sure. This can also be used as a taskkiller but you need a rooted phone.

Every net interface is listed in net options. This means wifi, bluetooth and 3g are available in their system names.
You can see what you downloaded so far or reset the counter at a specific point in time. For instance if you reset the counter at the start of a new bill you can see how much you downloaded so far. Easy to keep track of your download/uploadlimit. Every net interface is logged even wifi, bluetooth or 3G
