SnaPanda

SnaPanda is an OCR-based application, enabling an English word in a written document to be captured very easily.

Whenever you touch a word on the touch screen, this appears in a block at the top of the screen: its definition is also returned by the smartphone.

Recent changes:
- Improvement of the word-recognition algorithm
- Suppression of the “sensitivity” setting: capturing a word becomes more simple
- Setting “Enhanced mode” (More accurate but slower recognition (oldest devices can deactivate this mode to gain speed)
- Autofocus green/red LED indicating if focus is optimum or not
- Sensitive (vibration) and visual (wave) feedback on the camera screen to confirm the recognition is running
- All saved words appear now in a global list (“All my words”)
