What’s New In Version 2
The second version of the XLR8R Scion City Guide app is completely redesigned and simplified. With fewer screens to navigate, and more intuitive access to the information contained within, new features include:

- New planning view, where the user can create a plan while browsing information. Plans can be shared with friends via Facebook, Twitter and email directly from your phone.
- Browse listings by tabbed categories, both in a list and map view.
- Filter results with a pop-up screen that allows the user to narrow by distance from current location, day of the week and time of day.

A collaborative effort in a long tradition of forward-thinking projects undertaken by XLR8R and Scion, the City Guide allows users to navigate editorial picks for the coolest bars, restaurants, cafés, galleries, shops, record stores and unique spots, with supporting descriptions, locations, photographs and more. Weve even selected the best one-off music and art events for each city, including Scion racing and lifestyle events.

Inspired by XLR8R magazines annual City Guide print editions, the City Guide application features hundreds of hand-selected locations and events.. The City Guide is a discriminating resource for planning a trip or just figuring out what to do tonight, filling in the cultural gaps left behind by mainstream guides.

Once youve installed the City Guide app, just choose a city, what youd like to do and when youd like to do it, and an extensive list of XLR8Rs favorite shopping, eating and music-related activities will be at your fingertips. You can also view picks on a scalable map and create a shareable plan from your selections.
